From Keahole Airport in Kailua Kona,turn left onto HI-19, Queen Kaahumanu Highway. Stay on HI-19 for approximately 30 miles until you come to the first stop sign. Turn left onto HI-270, Akoni Pule Highway. Stay on HI-270 for approximately 20 miles as it takes you along the coast to Hawi. When you enter Hawi town, look for HI-250, and turn right. You'll see Kohala Village Inn on the right just after you turn. We are across from the Banyan Tree park. Travel
time approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.

From Hilo Airport,head out of the airport on the Airport Access Road, and turn right on Kanoelehua Ave. Travel less than a mile on Kanoelehua Ave, then turn left onto Kamehameha Avenue, HI-19. Follow the signs for HI-19, which will lead you onto the Hawaii Belt Road. Travel approximately 55 miles which will bring you into Waimea. Follow the signs for HI-19 through Waimea (You'll make a right turn at the third stoplight). Continue on HI-19 for approximately two more miles. Turn right onto Kohala Mountain Road, HI-250, and travel approximately 19 miles. Toward the end the road will fork, and HI-250 will go to the left another two miles. Near the end, the speed limit is reduced to 25 mph, and you will soon see Kohala Village Inn on the left before you reach the stop sign at the end of the road. We are across from the Banyan Tree park. Travel time approximately on hour and forty-five minutes.
